Description

One for the Autumn Winter months from the 1930s. It’s a Jumper Coat (or Cardigan) worked in rib
and a feather pattern. The deep waist is in rib and so is the high yoke and collar, the sleeves
are in the same feather pattern with ribbed wrist bands.

The original yarn used was 15 ozs. (426g) W.B. ‘KWIKNIT’. A pair each No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 6
(5mm) needles. Six buttons. ‘KWIKNIT’ was about an aran weight wool.

TENSION: 5 sts. to the inch of stocking-stitch

The jumper will fit a 34 inch Bust
