Description
This one is from the 1930s and is designed for sportswear. It’s relatively easy to make as the front
and back are almost the same. You add a brooch or clip at the front, gathering it a little to
give a slight cowl neck effect.
The original yarn used was 7 ozs. (200g) Paton’s ‘TOTEM’ knitting wool (which was an 8 ply D.K).
Two No. 1 (7.5mm) needles. A clip for the front.
TENSION: 4 sts. to the inch measured flat.
Actual measurement at underarm 38 inches all round.
Please note you are buying a copy of the pattern, not the original or the finished garment
