Description

A Sweater from the 1950s, that’s worked in stocking stitch, with the back and sleeves in one colour and
the front worked in an asymmetrical striped pattern.The neck has a back opening that is fastened with
4 little buttons.

You will also need a little crochet knowledge to finish around the back neck opening.

The original yarn used was 5 ozs. Patons Beehive Fingering 2 ply, 4 ozs. (114g) in a dark shade and
1 oz. (29g) in a light shade. A pair each No. 11 (3mm)and No. 12 (2.75mm) needles. A No. 12 (2.75mm)
crochet hook. 4 small buttons.
