1950’s Winter Boleros Knitting Pattern in Three sizes

£3.99£5.99

Description

A really simple three-quarter sleeve Bolero/Cover-up from the 1950’s. It’s worked in simple stocking-stitch
with ribbed borders and can be either cropped or waist length.

The original yarn used was Robin ‘Shaggy Darling’ Mohair and wool and Ny-lona Classic double knitting for
the borders. Needle size No. 5 (5.5mm) and No. 8 (4mm).

Can’t find any info on this yarn, so my guess would be an Aran weight Mohair. But please check yourself as
I haven’t knitted this one myself yet.

TENSION: Using No. 5 (5.5mm) needles and Mohair = 4 sts. to 1 inch.

You’ll need between 8-10 oz (approx-230-85g) of Mohair depending on size

You can knit this one in three sizes: Bust 34 (36 -38) ins.

Please note you are buying a copy of the pattern, not the original or finished garment
