Description
The Sleeveless Evening frock from 1929 is made with a foundation dress in silk or similar and over
dress in net or tulle. The under bodice is bandeau style with shoulder straps and the net over
skirt is attached to the foundation skirt in two layers, alternating the hanky hem. The two
parts are brought together with a low waistband.
There are no seams allowed on these early patterns, but the details on adding are in the
Instructions.
Size: Bust 36″ Hip 42″
Fabric suggestions: Silk, Satin for the foundation dress, Tulle, Net, Georgette or Chiffon for
the overdress
