1920’s Ladies Princess Coat Sewing Pattern Bust 36

£10.49£20.99

Description

This lovely coat is from 1929 and features the following: It’s cut in panels princess style
with a flirty flip hemline. The sleeves are in two-parts and its has two collars to choose
from, either straight, (View B) or with a two-part novelty collar fur-trimmed (View A)
which sits off the shoulders. Fastening is either single breasted or double breasted with
a single button to one side. The coat is lined.

Please note this is a very early vintage pattern and is only really recommended for
experienced sewers. But if feel like a challenge then go for it! The instructions are
practically non-existent with only minimal instructions and a illustrated chart to
show you how to match the numbered notches for assembly.

The pattern is Bust 36 ins. Hip 43 ins. (Vintage size 18). No waist measurement
mentioned.

There are no fabric suggestions on this one, so use a coating fabric like, flannel, Tweed,
Melton, Wool etc., and fur for the novelty collar. Lining use something like silk, anti-
static, satin etc.

I’ve included a period sewing guide with this one to help.
