A dressy-looking sweater from 1934 that’s worked in a combination of stocking stitch and an open work pattern.
The collar is in moss-stitch and finishes in a soft bow at the back of the neck. The welts are single ribbing.
Measurements: To fit 34-36 inch bust.
Original materials used were: 7 ozs. (200g) Sirdar Super Shetland 3 ply. A pair each No. 10 (3.25mm)
and No. 8 (4mm) needles.
TENSION: 6 1/2 sts. to an inch in width on No. 8 needles
The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion chart to help
