Description

This simple Coat and Beret are from the 1930’s. Worked in a simple pattern with the ribbed borders worked in at
the same time on the Coat. The beret is also knitted and easy to make.

The original yarn used was: Patons “KANASTRA” wool. 14 ozs. (400g) for the coat and 2 ozs. (57g) for the
Beret. A pair each No. 10 (3,25mm) and No. 7 (4.5mm) needles. 14 buttons (the original used chrome)

Tension 4-1/2 stitches to the inch

Size measured at underarm is 36 inches.
