Description

This charming crocheted jumper is just ideal for wearing out-of-doors without a coat because of its
cosy thickness and tailored lines. The Jumper is all crocheted except for the turn-back collar which
is knitted in rib and has a zip fastener. The Cap and scarf are also all crochet.

It’s mentioned that it’s not for the novice crocheter as its tricot crocheting. Which I assume is
similar to fair isle knitting as it’s worked in two colours. I do not crochet so this isn’t my area
of expertise, so please do some research if this appeals to you.

Original materials used 14 ozs (400g) of “Kelpie” wool in light grey, 7 ozs.(200g) in a darker grey,
a tricot crochet hook Size 7 (4.5mm) A pair of No. 12 (2.75mm) needles and a 7 inch zipper.

The ply of this wool is unknown, but the instruction indicates that it is a thick wool, so maybe try
a D.K working a tension piece to check. on a No. 7 (4.5mm) hook
