Description

A delightful loose-stitch pattern is used on this one, it’s all plain knitting, with the open row being
produced by a big needle. The original was carried out in Honey and Jade, but any two colours can be
used. The are five pieces in the jumper, back front, two sleeves and a scarf-collar.

The original materials used wee: 4 ozs (114g) Carter and Parker’s 2-ply “Wendy” Wool in honey and 1 oz.
(29g) in Jade green. A pair each No. 9 (3.75mm) and No. 12 (2.75mm) needles and a large wooden needle
No. 0 (8mm). A curtain ring approx 3/4 – 1 inch (20mm -25mm) in diameter.

Measurements to fit:Shoulder to neck 18 inches, width all round at underarm 34 inches, sleeve seam
21.5 inches.

Tension: 11 sts. to 2 inches in width and 9 rows to i inch in depth on the main pattern of jumper.
