Description
This 1930’s dress is worked in two pieces. Both the skirt and waist (bodice) are worked on a circular
needle with the bell-sleeves being worked on two needles. You will need some crochet knowledge to
make a casing at the waist for elastic and to finished other edges. Belt loops are added at the
sides to hold the front fastening belt.
The original yarn used was: 23 balls of Fleisher’s Angel Crepe. A 29-inch No. 2 US (3mm) circular
needle. A pair of No. 2 US (3mm) needles for the sleeves. A No. 2 US (2.75mm) crochet hook.
1 front opening buckle. 1 Clip. 30-inches (76cm) of 5/8 inch (15.9mm) elastic. 31-inches ((79cm)
of 1-1/4 inch (31mm) wide ribbon
Size to fit:
18 US vintage size which after checking seems to be a 36 ins Bust
