1930’s Three Pretty Tea Frocks Sewing Pattern

£10.49£19.99

Description

The ideal wash frock (summer frock) from 1933. You can make it up in three ways, with or without
shoulder cape and it irons out flat!

The Frock is cut with wide shoulders and a very generous wrap over down the front. At the back
both bodice and skirt are darted to shape into the waist, with the front bodice shaped in a
zig-zag.

View A: has a plainly faced neck with buttons trimming the shoulders and down the front
View B: with a crescent shaped collar with buttons down the front
View C: has a plain neck and matching shoulder cape

All three have a matching belt if required.

There are no seams allowed on these early patterns, but the details on adding them are in the
Instructions.

Fabric suggestions: Cotton voile, Cotton Lawn, Pique, Linen

Size: Bust 36″

The pattern comes with very basic instructions to make, so I have added a helpful sewing guide.
