Description

What a handsome chap in his Lumber style Coat. The original was knitted in beige and brown.
The knitting is in stripes and the nubbly stitch is created by knitting into a stitch in the row below,
which gives a sort of mock fair Isle look.

The original yarn used was: 15 ozs. (426g) of “Greenock” Brand Double Knitting wool in beige
and 9 ozs. (256g) of the same wool in brown. I pair each No. 6 (5mm) and No. 11 (3mm) needles.
8 buttons.

  • Measurements to fit: 38-40 inch chest (Actual measurement 41 inches).
  • Length: 24 inches
  • Sleeve seam: 21 inches
  • Tension: 4 sts. and 9 rows to one inch.
