1940’s Stylish Striped Frock Vintage Knitting Pattern Bust 32-34

£3.99£5.99

Description

This one is called Rhapsody in stripes and I can see why. It’s simple lines and striped bodice just radiates style.

It’s worked in a combination of moss-stitch and stocking stitch giving it a fabric feel. The skirt is made up
of moss-stitch and stocking stitch vertical stripes giving the impression of pleats. The waist is ribbed to
pull it in and give shape and the bodice is striped with a moss-stitch band round the neck which fastens
either side of the neck with two small buttons.

It’s worked in two pieces on 2 needles, excluding the sleeves and neck band which are knitted separately.
