Description
Two all day frocks from the 1940s. The dress has a panelled back and front that attaches to an
all-in-one yoke and sleeve. It’s darted at the bust and waist and has a front neck opening and
a left side placket. Can be either long or short sleeved.
The pattern has been re-drafted in it’s original size;
Bust 34 – Hip 38. These 1940’s patterns were usually without waist measurement as it was
assumed you would adjust it to fit.
There are no fabric suggestions as it’s a Wartime pattern. Try Cotton blend light suiting,
Viscose, Wool blends, Tartan, maybe even a Ponte Roma (maybe a jersey, with a width-way
slight mechanical stretch)
The pattern has basic step by step instructions so I have included a helpful sewing guide
