From the 1940’s Wartime era comes this pattern for Women’s Service Socks and Stockings. They
are knitted in 3-ply and it also states the amount of coupons you would need to buy the wool.
Both are worked on 4 needles. Also included are instructions to knit a Child’s spiral sock
in 4 ply.
Measurements to fit: 8.5 ins and 11 ins. Foot length
