Description
Two little summer tops from the late 1950’s The blue top is in a lace stitch pattern and has cute
little raglan sleeves and the squared neckline is worked on 4 needles for a seamless finish. The
yellow top is sleeveless and worked in a pattern to give the vertical stripes and finished around
the neck and armholes with crochet.
Original yarn used for both styles was: ROBIN Ny-lona Multiply or Merino 3 ply fingering
For the blue top you will need between 6oz. (approx 142.g) for the smallest size to 7oz.
(approx 200g) for the largest size. A pair each of No. 10 (3.25mm) and No. 11 (3.00mm)
needles.5 No. 12 (2.75mm) double pointed needles
For the yellow top you will need between 5oz. (approx 170.g) for the smallest size to 6oz.

needles. A fine crochet hook for the neck and armholes
TENSION:
For Blue top: Using No. 10 needles (3.25mm) needles 7.5 sts. = 9 rows to 1 inch. For Yellow
top: Using No.10 needles (3.25mm) needles 7.5 sts. = 9.5 rows to 1 inch and No. 11 (3.00mm)
needles 9.5 sts. – 1 inch
